COVID-19 BOOKING POLICIES

Essential Travel Bookings (updated 8th May 2020)

If you qualify as an Essential Traveller and need to be away from home during Stage 3 restrictions in Victoria, we would be more than happy to be your home away from home during this trying time.

You may qualify for Essential Travel if:

  • You are travelling for care and compassionate reasons.
  • You are travelling to attend work or education (e.g. tradies, medical professionals, uni students).
  • You are a person who has no permanent place of residence.
  • You are a person whose residence is temporarily unavailable (e.g. moving home, in the midst of significant home repairs or in the middle of building their new home).
  • You are a person who needs emergency accommodation as a result of family violence.

We welcome short and long-term bookings, with flexible rates for weekly stays. We are happy to offer last minute bookings with contactless check-in and spotless self-contained accommodation, with plenty of room to securely park your vehicle and/or equipment on site.

Please note: We are required by law to have you sign a waiver declaring your need to stay with us prior to check-in

Cancellation Policy (updated 19 March 2020)

If the following circumstances apply to you at the time of your booked check in date, the COVID-19 Cancellation Policy will apply to your booking. If you wish to cancel your booking and the following does not apply, the standard cancellation policy will apply to your booking.

You are required to self-isolate in accordance with the Australian Government Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) policy during the dates of your stay. This includes:

  • Have contracted a confirmed case of coronavirus
  • All people who arrive in Australia from overseas after midnight 15 March 2020
  • All people who think they may have been in contact with a confirmed case of coronavirus

You have specifically made a booking relating to a major event that has been cancelled due to the imposed restrictions on non-essential organised gatherings.

Reservations made on or before 19 March 2020

If the above applies to you, the following cancellation policy will apply to your booking:

  • Change of dates with no administration fee and the option to "lock" your rate for the same or similar period; or
  • A credit on your account for a 12 month period to re-book your stay, with no administration fee (if costs vary between booking dates, you may be require to fund the balance); or
  • A full refund, less a $50.00AUD administration fee.

Reservations made after 19 March 2020

If the above applies to you, the following cancellation policy will apply to your booking:

If your booking is cancelled with no less than 72 hours notice, you may receive:

  • Change of dates with no administration fee and the option to "lock" your rate for the same or similar period; or
  • A credit on your account for a 12 month period to re-book your stay, with no administration fee (if costs vary between booking dates, you may be require to fund the balance); or
  • A full refund, less a $50.00AUD administration fee.

If your booking is cancelled within 72 hours of your booked check in date, no refund will be given.

Off-Peak Season Cancellation Policy

If more than 7 days notice is given for a reservation cancellation during off-peak season, guests will be refunded their full payment less a $50.00AUD cancellation fee per cabin or site. At least 7 days notice must be given for booking or date alterations. An administration fee of $50 per reservation will apply for each date change or change of cabin/site type made. Date changes are subject to availability.

If cancelling within 7 days of due arrival date no refund will be given.

If you do not notify the park of your cancellation or do not arrive by 10am the day after your scheduled arrival date, your booking will be cancelled and deposit forfeited.

Park Lane Holiday Parks reserves the right to cancel bookings for ‘no shows’.

Group Bookings: Upon booking for a group (10 or more bookings), a deposit of $100 is required per Cabin/Villa and $50 per powered or ensuite site. This deposit is non-refundable for cancellations within one month of the arrival dates. Any cancellation more than one month prior to the arrival date will incur a $50 administration fee per booking and all remaining amounts will be refunded.

Peak Season Cancellation Policy

Includes public holidays, long weekends, school holidays and special events – bookings require a security deposit of the first nights tariff when booking.

On-line: Full payment is taken at time of booking.

If more than 28 days notice is given for a reservation cancellation during peak season, guests will be refunded their full payment less a $50.00AUD cancellation fee per cabin or site.
